The DREAM becomes Reality!!!!!!!!!!!

Ronnie and I went down to check out the cottage and OMG!!!!!  We are about 2 1/2 weeks away from closing.  Just some touch up painting, housekeeping and minor items left to do.  We met with the movers at the storage unit and stopped by the Outer Banks furniture store to confirm our delivery late morning on Friday, December 2nd.  Closing is scheduled for 9:00 am.  What a fabulous Christmas present!!  Check out the pictures below.  It won't be long before the next pictures we share will be with the furniture (or at least boxes) in the house.

Kitchen appliances, lighting and cabinets

Cabinet drawer knobs and pulls for kitchen and bathrooms - beachy!!!!

View of kitchen area from dining room

Looking down the stairwell, onto the landing and 1/2 bath

I am "totally digging" the red doors and white nautical light fixtures we selected!!!!

The other half of my team - don't go anywhere without them!!

Welcome to the Sack of Crabs!!!
Sack of Crabs has come to life -Pogie (builder) gave us an anemometer aka wind gauge as a house warming gift (located on the very top peak) - very, very cool!

This is the gauge inside that indicates wind speed (Anemometer)

BTW, make sure you set some clear boundaries with Ronnie about what the "poop deck" is really used for.
